2Edge is a South Florida native that’s had his share of struggles in life, but his music points you to the life’s remedy. Listening to how he utilizes his life experiences to tell the story of God’s grace on his life will help you understand the vessel behind the music. Influenced by the likes of Commissioned, The Winans family, the late Brenda Lewis (His mother), Stevie Wonder, 90’s Hip Hop and so many to name, 2Edge fell in love with the art of music. He’s been a member of the Christian hip-hop South Florida based group, 1Way since 1992 and has been creating music ever since. He’s also gained much experience serving as a youth leader and worship team member at his home church, Spanish River Church in Boca Raton, Florida. 

Over the years, 2Edge’s style has moved a bit further than the east coast boom bap sound of his group, 1Way. He’s spread his musical wings to reach a much wider audience through his God given ability to sing and shape a more versatile vibe that can’t be placed in a traditional hip-hop box. You will feel connected to his blended sound of east coast hip hop, R&B, EDM, Dance, praise & worship and House. 

Since his solo start in 2008, 2Edge has released While I’m Still Breathin’ (2009), Second Wind (2011), To Whom It May Concern… (2013), Sincerely Yours (2015), P.S… Let’s Do It Again (2016), Intentional (2018), Intentional: Deluxe (2019), Amazing Mercy (2020), Rise Above It All (2022), Tidings of Joy (2023), Make Music You Can Live To: [The Playlist: Vol. 1-2] (2024) with plans to release his next project in 2026. He’s been nominated for Best Gospel Rap/ HipHop Artist twice at The Praise & Worship Experience (Business & Church) Awards in South Florida (2020, 2022), Top Christian Hip Hop Artist of The Year at The Florida Gospel Music Awards (2025), Male Christian Hip Hop Artist of the Year at The Tampa Bay Gospel Music Awards (2020) and few others.  Amazing Mercy was nominated for album of the year in 2022 and Second Wind was nominated for Holy Hip Hop album of the year in 2012.

He's been fortunate to share venues with the likes of Rhema Soul, Steven Malcolm, Reconcile, Da’ T.R.U.T.H., Cross Movement, Young Joshua, KJ-52, Gospel Gangstaz, Out of Eden, GRITS, Angie & Debbie Winans and many more. Speaking the gospel through music to a world that’s in dire need of Jesus Christ is what 2Edge has been about since he first held a microphone.
